Im Mr Morris Posted December 5, 2019 at 11:56 PM Im Mr Morris Attendant [Y] ENTERED RETIREMENT 196 Share (edited) I was reading an article recently about a new bill proposed in NYC to have sirens changed from their current American styled loud federal signal sirens to a Hi-Lo European styled siren. These sirens would mainly sound equivalent to German-styled first responder sirens. This bill will affect both the Fire Department of New York City (FDNY), Independent Ambulance Services, and the New York City Police Department (NYPD). Would this be a good change? Or would the less aggressive monotone sirens instead be seen as less authoritative in the dense selfish New York City environment? Mount Sinai in New York has already changed their sirens to a Hi-Lo system. https://youtu.be/2LJo2yKpv70 Edited December 5, 2019 at 11:56 PM by Mr Morris
