Call of Duty has passion for the game but not the audience. The developers, like Halo have boundaries that are constantly pushing against the community so as to limit interaction. The stuff they do for the game is just to make money at the end of the day. 

Also I can access the Units page but it does not show up in my main navigation bar. It seems like its an important page and should be on the main navigation especially since I am still in one. 

I can't react to this agreeing with it but in addition to FOMO I simply cannot get back into games if I am not playing regularly. Especially games like Destiny 2 where now not having played the last year it gets harder to jump back into because I missed previous metas, weeklies and rewards that others enjoy and flaunt. Its made gaming inaccessible in ways they really did not think through. What really sucks is that we have to suffer this for the industry to realize and come up with better ways for long term player retention. By the time I really set down a controller for good they would figure it out for the next generation and my blood boils just knowing they get to relish in new built great systems. 

In todays world if you don't like something and a major content creator isn't voicing it on whatever platform they use you have to uninstall and not play the game. Its not something I want to have to do but quickly becomes the only option for me.

The history forums. I wanted to see the exact date and time ONI's founding was. 

It sounds like a good idea to reset the permissions. There isn't really too much to hide but more to reminesce and be nostalgic about. In that, you should let resigned role playing clan members of the past still be able to read some of those stories we were apart of. 

Big yikes on Microsoft's part. It is funny though during the court proceedings they use Microsoft Azure product to keep record. Its also interesting the FTC blames Microsoft when I am pretty sure it was actually the court itself that leaked the documents by accident. 

I want access to forums I was able to see but now can no longer see. Is there a help thread or contact form?

I actually tuned in over Twitch this weekend. Halo Infinite is more entertaining to watch than Halo 5: Guardians. All Halo 5: Guardians tournaments were won by the same Halo roster and only the last few tournaments our favorite Splyce roster came together to dethrone Lethul, Royal 2, Frosty and Snakebite. This game we’re seeing new faces break into Top 8 but also see this drama in the Top 4. 

Watching this makes me want to ask where are roster is but I know you and staff shy away from the idea again.

What the hell.

This is a great piece Shawn, I actually like Halo Infinite and its been hard to find more positive people around Halo. I think people forget that the negativity of others only feed into how they feel and think. But of course my feeds on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter don't show me much of any Halo things anymore and its probably for the best since I prefer not following gaming content on social media anyways.

Starting to see an uptick in activity on the forums, hopefully this is not just a Summer fling here but people find value and purpose here. I'm not apart of staff anymore or a moderator but I do miss ONI from time to time and especially in fun game modes we would play as parties way back in the day. I recently played Squad Battles and just thought that this is probably the best rotational playlist yet. Maybe ONI should do more play dates and get some activities going on! Anyway on to the topic of the thread before I lose focus here.

What do you think are some ways that this forum could do better, bring more people or have more conversations?

I saw them recruiting recently. Wonder how they are now. Wish you also posted the dates Glatix might have posted this originally.
