Im Mr Morris Posted December 5, 2019 at 11:58 PM Im Mr Morris Attendant [Y] ENTERED RETIREMENT 196 Share A newer technology recently introduced, known as "StarChase" is a GPS tracker designed to be launched from Police Patrol vehicles during pursuits, the top of the GPS has a very sticky gloss that keeps it stuck on the back of the vehicle. This allows police to back away during a pursuit and have the vehicle remain marked down, preventing high-speed collisions. The vehicle can then later, be tracked down by law enforcement. Does this seem like a step in the right direction for safer police pursuits? Or an unreliable technology that will let potential threats escape.
