Bush jokes aside, this should be up here. I am completely bewildered no one said anything but a whole post was made about Queen Elizabeth II no disrespect to her. I thought we were all more American here than anything else.

Ways to honor 9/11 in your community.

Moments of Silence:

Join the 9/11 Memorial in honoring the victims of 9/11 by observing moments of silence during the commemoration ceremony.

Stair Climbs:

Across the nation, you can honor the 343 first responders who gave their lives to help others on 9/11 by climbing 110 stories – the equivalent of the highest point of the World Trade Center. According to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which sponsors the stair climbs, the event not only honors the memories of first responders who died that day but also symbolizes the completion of their heroic journeys to save others.

Find a stair climb event near you and learn more about how you can host a stair climb. Proceeds go to the foundation to help support fire service survivors.
