INFORMATION

The 105th Shock Troops Division, also known by the sobriquet "Helljumpers", is a formation of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers of the UNSC Marine Corps. It is highly regarded by many to be one of the best divisions in the UNSC Armed Forces. The division's insignia is a "Gold Comet". Its main roles are to locate, close with and destroy the enemy with fire and maneuver.

ORGANIZATION

The 105th Shock Troops Division is organized as a Division by modern United States Army standards from which the UNSC table of organization is inspired from. The division consists of three maneuver enhancement brigades one per each Halo game, and an aviation brigade along with a number of smaller specialized units. Divisions are often formed to organize units of a particular type together with appropriate support units to allow independent operations. Due to scaling the formation has been adjusted to better exercise in narrative to ONI and role playing on Halo.

DIVISION HEADQUARTERS
Division Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) is a company-sized military unit, responsible for administrative tasks of the division. While a regular company is formed of three or four platoons, an HHC is made up of the headquarters staff and headquarters support personnel of a battalion, brigade and division. The staff company is responsible for the 105th Shock Troops Division, as such its leadership rests not with one position and person but the entire command of the following personnel.

• a brigade commander, usually a Colonel
• a brigade executive officer, usually a Lt. Colonel
• a brigade Command Sergeant Major
• a personnel officer (S1), usually a Captain
• an intelligence officer (S2), usually a Captain
• an operations officer (S3), usually a Major
• a logistics officer (S4), usually a Captain
• a plans officer (S5), usually a Major
• a communications officer (S6), usually a Captain

BRIGADE
Maneuver Enhancement Brigades is a unit of organization to provide combat support and effectiveness to existing units. Aviation Brigades differ to provide space assault and dedicated resource to the UNSC Prowler Corps. in COINTEL efforts. Each brigade is designed for a specific area of responsibility & area of operations. The brigade itself operational command rests with the HHC and Naval Special Warfare Command.

EACH BRIGADE HAS TWO BRIGADE COMBAT TEAMS (BCT) AND ONE BRIGADE SUPPORT BATTALION (BSB) WITH ADDITIONAL DETACHED SHOCK TROOPS BATTALIONS (DSB)

SHOCK INFANTRY BRIGADE COMBAT TEAMS
Shock Infantry Brigade Combat Teams are prioritized teams used in Raids. The brigade combat team (BCT) is the basic deployable unit of maneuver in the UNSC Armed Forces. These teams are specialized twelve person squads that are combat ready to drop at any given moment.

BRIGADE SUPPORT BATTALION
Brigade Support Battalion is an battalion of unsorted ODST personnel into either Alpha or Bravo BCTs. All recruits go into the BSB and are assessed in this unit before moving forward to a combat team. If selection is not chosen to join a BCT as a prioritized team to special activities. 

DETACHED SHOCK TROOPS BATTALIONS
Detached Shock Troops Battalions are specific combat battalions attached to UNSC ships, battle groups and task forces.
