Have you ever ran or owned your own game server? For me, I used to own & run a private server for Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst called Revillution PSO or RevPSO for short. I really miss that place and it's a shame i had to close it when i did. We had a big patch to fix a previous patch's issues that we missed but never got around to completing it and unfortunately due to a dead hard drive, I lost all of the data and progress. :( Bringing it back now would be near impossible. :( What about you? Have you ever owned or operated your own private server(s) for any games?

Anyone else looking forward to the release of XDefiant? XDefiant is Ubisoft's arcade shooter, basically a bunch of former Call of Duty devs & pro players got together and made a more arcade-like shooter similar to old school Call of Duty. It's going to be free to play and from what I've played of it, It's a lot of fun. It feels great and I'm really looking forward to the game's release. Unfortunately, it's going through some rough patches and delays... What about you? Are you excited for XDefiant? Here's some gameplay if you're unfamiliar:

Are you interested in CoD MWIII this year? I wasn't at first, but I tried the beta and ended up pre-ordering. The old school favorite maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) was an awesome throwback with a nice new coat of paint on them. I had fun in the beta and I'm hoping the game carries that fun throughout the game's life cycle this year. The gunplay and movement felt the closest it's felt to old school Call of Duty than it has in the past 5 or so years. So far, it looks like Sledgehammer Games is fixing all the stuff Infinity Ward broke about their game, putting a new campaign with it and releasing a new game. I'm okay with that as it felt really fun to play. I haven't played a CoD beta that much since Black Ops 3 in 2015 (Which sitll stands as my favorite CoD of all time) Have you played Modern Warfare III? Are you going to be picking it up?

For me? It's probably a list of things: Poor Design/Layout Ugly theme Too many forums/clutter. Bad staff/lack of interest from staff or maybe they're just too 'full' of themselves Little to no TOS or rules being enforced Buggy/broken features not being addressed or fixed.

I take into account if it's a forum I'm even interested in. I generally don't sign up to a forum or discord unless I have at least some interest in the subject matter. Then I tend to lurk for awhile and read threads and such and see how the community interacts with each other. I try to get a feel of how the staff are as well. Having good, friendly staff is a big part in deciding if I'm gonna stay in a community or not. I've joined a few forums in the past where I've met some awesome people I'm still friends with to this day. Hell, I met my girlfriend on her own forum back in 2009. We've been a couple for nearly 10 years at this point. So yeah there's a couple factors that help me decide if I'd join and stay in a community, but that's just me. I can't speak for anyone else.
