If agreed he agreed to this @Chillguy23really you should be providing evidence. As we really have no confirmation that this actually happened.

Usually you would provide a screenshot of the convo in discord. @MorrisI don't know if you were apart of the conversation in the party but again even if you were or weren't  i would say the same thing in terms of approving this, you should have requested proof from him the ghost actually agreed to this.

Ghost did agree to this. I was present in the party with both Ghost and Chill when this was discussed and when the approval was put in.

There’s no possible way of providing proof of a vocal conversation and it’s understandably unnecessary for proof needing to be provided. I wouldn’t falsely approve something without communicating with both parties.

If you have anymore questions or concerns about it feel free to direct them towards Chill or Ghost as they were both in the party last night (11/25/2021).

  3. Approved 11/25/2021

Though we did discuss Ghost's lack of using the website due to his availability I request no more documents should be made by anyone but him unless it is an administrative document (promotion, demotion, etc.). The website is a fundamental tool and needs to be utilized by all members. Happy Thanks Giving.

  4. This forum is solely for the discussion and posting of elevation gains from @the gamer 24833 and myself. This will be the official log for the Height Challenger competition between me and Gamer. The challenge is based on whoever can reach the highest elevation (Not by aircraft) and have it recorded on the app All Trails to make sure things are legitimate. The All Trails screenshot must include the Date, Time, Location, and a supporting photo from the summit. If Gamer beats me on the heighest elevation by the deadline June 1st 2022, I will award him $150.

So, this thread will mainly be All Trails screenshots and brief discussions as the eight month period ticks by. Best of luck Gamer and stay safe mountaineering!

  5. As many know I was a public safety dispatcher in northern Maine for roughly two years. Only recently have I attained a new job in asset protection management after resigning from my county public safety office. Roughly three months ago I received one of the strangest calls I had ever encounter as a dispatcher and I decided to share it here.

    March 22nd, 2021 around 3:30 AM EST.

I received a call and answered with the policy “9-1-1 what’s your emergency?”. Upon saying this the individual who I will keep anonymous replied “Hi this is (John Doe) with Central Maine Power, I wanted to report an electrical fire at my substation”.

Not long after this I got a weird feeling in my gut, the call didn’t feel right, the CMP “employee” who called sounded strangely calmed for an electrical fire especially at a power substation which in the event of an electrical fire could call for a serious blaze, and that being said we are in northern Maine which is almost entirely wooded, an uncontrolled fire in rural Maine could easily lead to a forest fire. I asked the individual for an address which they gave to me, following suite I contacted a local FD station near the callers given address though it was about 25 minutes out so I informed the CMP employee there would be a delay.

Things got very weird after this though, after the caller explained to me the size of the fire and the precautions he had claimed to take he asked me “Are you sending the police too?”. Now it IS my business to judge here and having somebody ask me if I am dispatching law enforcement alongside the Fire Department is very out of place. Why would this random CMP employee care if the police were coming or not? In the Maine Criminal Justice Academy where I received my Emergency Telecom training, we spent two weeks delving into psychological understanding of a callers behavior because surprise surprise, 9-1-1 dispatchers are trained to tell when someone is lying or in a scenario where they have to pretend being ok (I.e. a kidnapping situation).

Originally, I had only dispatched one county unit to maintain traffic control in the event the fire department needed to take up road space with their engines. After having the caller ask me about the presence of police though I decided to flag two Maine State Troopers in the area. I informed the two troopers of the strange request and had them head there as well for a possible situation beyond an electrical fire, like someone who was a hostage and was using that question as a hint to send help.

The two state troopers arrived before FD and the county unit and when they arrived on scene the first thing they told me is that this power substation was most definitely not in service. The trooper sergeant on scene told me it was rusted and had no active lines. To follow up with this I called the Central Maine Power office where I had one of their night operators tell me the station linked with that address had not been in service since 2003. Things were really weird now.

The county unit soon arrived afterwards, the fire department was told to wait at their current location as this call was taking a strange turn. Due to the nature of a possible hostage situation, the three responding Law Enforcement Officers went code 4 which meant they would disable their lights before entering the area as not to spook the potential “hostage taker”. This wasn’t the case though. The state troopers who went on foot near the power station ended up finding a Ford F-150 completely blacked out but running. The troopers had approached the vehicle without their flashlights on though upon getting to the truck, it was empty aside from one thing resting on the center console against the drivers side seat, an AR-15. Upon finding a rifle just left about and the very worrying state of the call and the caller who had hung up on me not long after I dispatched the state police, additional law enforcement units were requested by the trooper sergeant in which I had put out a call for any available units to go with the call going from being listed as an “Electrical Fire” to a “Potentially Endangered Individual”. This prompted a response from two more Maine state troopers and one federal fish and game officer who was in a nearby wildlife refugee center. A radio silence was called due to the scenario taking a possible aggressive turn.

Not even 10 minutes after the troopers found the AR-15 and truck, they spotted a man hunched down in some bushes near the desolate power station, he was commanded to show himself with his hands up which he did, the three officers detained him. This is where I got goosebumps though, the county deputy reported that the man had dropped a Remington 870 Super Mag, a well-known shotgun for bird hunting. This lead to the man who was now detained to be brought to the deputies vehicle while the trooper sergeant and now the recently added federal wildlife officer inspected the shotgun. This man had loaded this 870 up with slugs, a very lethal form of shotgun ammunition compared to the standard birdshot you’d find in one of these shotguns.

The gun ended up being reported as stolen, this guy had stolen this gun from his now ex-girlfriend, the AR-15 was a ghost gun meaning it was primarily created by him, a majority of the parts aside from the interior receiving being 3D printed making the rifle untraceable, while this was not illegal it was concerning. They found the ID of John Doe in his truck, after pulling his name up in the national database he ended up having an outstanding warrant back in Quebec for assault. This prompted the troopers to take him into state custody which would lead to an INTERPOL intervention to have the individual sent back to Canada. Though, before being sent to Canada he’d be tried in the US for the stolen 870 super mag.

To this day I still get goosebumps wondering what this man was planning on doing when the fire department and officers had arrived, I can only assume he was planning to ambush them, but why ambush cops when you have warrants? Your guess is as good as mine.

  6. In the few weeks I have known Corporal @Fire 2the Flame, I have enjoyed the pleasure of working along side with her. Flame is a very jovial and charismatic NCO, two very underappreciated traits I have seen in NCOs. Some of the most fundamental parts of leadership are being able to delegate while remaining respectful. Flame has demonstrated the ability to take control of the situation, while being able to befriend and show respect to members. In a recent internal raid I attended, I was able to see her strong ability in defending combat and prowess in being able to lead a team, control communications and organize the different roles of their team. Overall, I am very impressed with her abilities and her loyalty to the Office of Naval Intelligence. I hope to see how she grows in the future in the ONI and how high up the ranking structure she will go. From my years of experience here and my few years as an O-1 (Negating my period of resignation), she most definitely shows the natural leadership, maturity and character of a successful officer. I encourage her to pursue becoming an officer once Officer Candidate School is opened for applicants and would be more than willing to help donate website credits for her to attain a key.

  8. I know you said the store isn’t at a stage yet for physical goods but I’d still like to introduce a physical goods concept. How’s a challenge coin sound? Maybe create specific challenge coins that can be 3D printed for certain circumstances I.e (A challenge coin only for ODSTs, a coin only for NCOs or a coin only for Commissioned personnel.) Its a simple concept for a small disc that could allow members of the ONI to have a real life piece of merch to make them feel a lot closer to the Roleplay community they’ve joined here.

Sorry that was very long, I hope its easier to read here than over Discord. As for Dogecoin it is a meme crypto, my view of cryptocurrencies is slightly different, you want to invest in those that have a future, that could be used as a monetary commodity (buying a car in bitcoin for example) Dogecoin is a pump and dump meme/scheme because the more people dog pile into it the higher it will rise for the top earners to sell off their positions making a quick buck.

You'll notice it'll climb then stop and dip down for a little that is where people sold off some of their coin. The nice thing about crypto. is that the blockchain is transparent so that kind fo stuff everyone will get to see and take action on.

In your opinion what are some of the safest dividend and cryptos to invest in? I’ve been told before that Ethereum and Litecoin have potentials.

Yeah that's what they are called! Ghost cars! The ones in Georgia are sedans and SUV's so some come in the form of Chevy Impala's. On top of that there are two counties in/around Atlanta that have hellcats as chase vehicles for the super speeders. I recently saw another with a Lamborghini I'm sure courtesy of a local drug dealer.

A Lamborghini PD vehicle? Sounds similar to Dubai’s entire fleet.

All police cars just look better in black in my opinion, as somewhat of a speed violation specialist myself my favorite cop is the one that is indefinitely in the invisible/barely visible vinyls throw on the sides that can only be legible when directly looking at the side of the vehicle. They tuck the police light bar inside the car and tend to be very quick, more often not the typical police tuned V6.

In the link below the header picture shows you what I'm talking about.

Yeah those ones are pretty nice. Most departments I’ve actually seen and done any form of work with save those vehicles for supervisors only. You should see the newer “unmarked vehicle” type being used called ghost cars which have the side vinyls except they’re only really visible when hit directly with light and are reflective to vehicle lighting and flashlights. This might be the car you were describing as when I clicked on the link it showed on the header a slick top (Chevrolet Impala?). Here’s an image of a ghost car.

  12. Typed this on my break at work and with not many forms I’m apart of this is the one I am most prevalent on.

My state’s police department  released nine specially marked cruisers with the original state police logo and license plates to commemorate their 100th year anniversary as well as honoring fallen Maine State Troopers. While I’ve always liked the classic sky blue cruisers these newer black 2020 FPIUs look pretty nice with the original logo. Am I the only one who thinks that they should just make this their skin for the entire department fleet?

  13. Masonic lodges are known for their relative presence in most US states. Personally, here in Maine almost every town or every other town has a Masonic Lodge even if it’s in a small town and the lodge is only a simple one room temple with an altar and the specific chairs in the East, West and South for Masonic leadership.

How prevalent are Masonic Lodges in your area? I’d also like an input from @Shawn4Japanas I know Japan does have Masonic Temples yet I’ve only seen reference to one which is their grand lodge. Have you seen or heard of any other Masonic lodges in Japan aside from the grand one?

  14. Corporal ODST J Sechemet of the 105th Drop Shock Battalion is now MIA. For quite some time, members of his squad below him have reported strange occurrences of delusion radiating from the Corporal. Instances of randomly questioning his men “Do you like me?”. A Private reported once making a comedic pun about Corporal Sechemet being consistently cocky about his skill performance, the Corporal later on pulled this Private into a secluded area and began to question him with panic-like intensity. “You don’t actually think I’m cocky do you?” “Do the other guys think I’m annoying?”, the Private reported that Sechemet was delusional with what appeared to be clinical insecurity disorder.

Sechemet according to his squad was a skilled combatant, with a very competitive mindset. It was reported a few days after this interview that Sechemet began to act paranoid and would charge at the enemy base during a raid on his own leaving his squad behind, typically following up over the integrated comms system in their helmets saying “Dude did you just see me take out those three guys” followed by hysterical laughter. Corporal Sechemet has gone MIA once or twice before this occurrence, his previously reported MIA was after he filed an official LOA due to a family member being sick. He was then spotted one day after his LOA submission asking members of the vessel he was stationed on, The UNSC Meriwether Lewis if they’d like to join him in fighting on the planet Reach. Despite his LOA the Corporal was still spotted in combat on the planet of Reach. Corporal Sechemets final time being seen was before he claimed in a hysterical state that he wanted to become a professional gamer for something call “Call of Duty”.

Corporal Sechemet is still missing to this day.

  15. A long time in a clan to me would range around 7-8 months in. Clans are very time sensitive, rather that be in the actual clans lifespan or the availability of the those within it. Most people join clans in their early teens and will bounce around and check out other clans, factions and all of the possibilities. Since a lot of these newer community members are teens they have a good three-four years to play before adulting shows up. I’ve seen more clans lose their most iconic members due to them growing out of being able to play clans. A lot leave for the armed forces and can’t play Xbox relatively ever, some move to college, start full time jobs or fall in love.

In my time in clans I’ve made lots of amazing friends and watched them leave as they do their lives away from clans. Everyone wants to rise in a clan and earn ranks and power. Most clans 7-8 months can get you relatively far but in a way I feel Semper is a bit different, I’ve been with the clan for roughly nearing five years now and I’m only an O1. So I feel the concept of time in a clan depends on how much you get out of that limited time when you join this community. There’s only so much time before you can’t do Halo, only a few of us get the luxury of a comfortable life that can include free time to do Roleplay based activities.
