Im Mr Morris Posted November 3, 2019 at 09:30 PM Im Mr Morris Attendant [Y] EARLY RETIREMENT 196 Share A recent post on Law Enforcement Today addressed the NYPD's statement that they're tired by the abuse of power from the city's Mayor. The mayor is now being accused of using officers of the law to drive their son to New Haven Connecticut because he didn't want to take a train and using two unmarked vans to take his daughters possessions out of her apartment. NYPD officers were ordered to help the mayor's daughter move to her new apartment. These officers of the law are not chauffers for the mayor's family, these officers on duty are to be protecting the people of the city not being forced to drive a snobby rich kid because of his denial to a train. This letter written by an experienced NYPD officer explains that they're done with the mayor. The city's Department of Investigations has now opened a case on the allegations. It seems like the city is currently at a civil war between the office of the mayor and the law enforcement protecting them. What are your thoughts? Im Mr Morris Posted November 14, 2019 at 12:53 AM Im Mr Morris Attendant [Y] EARLY RETIREMENT 196 Author Share The NYPD is known to be one of the most outspoken departments especially against higher ranking corruption. I'm assuming this is because of so many police unions along with a very strong bond the NYPD has held with it's officers since the events of the September 11th Terrorist Attacks.
