It's been hinted before that smart AI's are capable of doing this and its kind of a rabbit hole in possibilities and opportunities to tell a story. What are your thoughts? Theories to this? As for smart ai splintering off sections we see it in Halo 4 as well as one of the halo novels, though the splintering can cause inconsistencies and instability in the AI.
