In the recent backlash from the comment around the competitive origins of Halo to which in my opinion was highly misconstrued and taken out of context; 343 for the Halo World Championships released a community stage alongside the main stage for competition at the venue. The reason behind it doesn't really matter and for anything it has to be because Seattle is the home state for Halo and 343 Industries.
