There was no data loss. There have been no further issues with instability or corruption since completion so we will mark this incident resolved. Aug 25, 2021 10:25 EDTnotification – Rebuild and migrations are ongoing. Sites that have completed the rebuild and migration are now stable and showing no further database issues. Aug 25, 2021 09:05 EDTnotification – About 25% of Invision Community sites have been rebuilt and migrated. Again, very sorry about this unplanned downtime but we could not risk ongoing database corruption and AWS still cannot find a root cause. When your community is being rebuilt, you will see a message "This community is not available" while the system processes. Aug 25, 2021 07:26 EDTmonitoring – We have a ticket open with AWS Support over 24 hours now and their engineers are unable to determine the cause of our database corruption issues. IPS has decided to rebuild all Invision Community site to a previously-known working version of AWS Aurora. This will require a short downtime period for each client site. Unfortunately, this is unplanned critical maintenance so we cannot predict when each site will be impacted. Most sites will see downtime of less than 15 minutes. Aug 24, 2021 17:17 EDTidentified – We are experiencing issues with AWS Aurora database engine on some Invision Community sites. This is causing searches to fail and some posting delays.
