Joe Staten leaves 343 Industries

In addition to the Microsoft lay offs, Joe Staten has left 343 Industries to return to Xbox publishing apart of the larger Xbox division. At first glance this news might seem to spell doom for many as Joe was the earnest face of 343 Industries appearing in community streams and even coining the term covert 1 flag citing that this was his favorite game mode but Xbox publishing is technically beyond 343 Industries and with his story telling talents I can imagine more greater titles alongside Halo will be able to benefit from the final leg Xbox publishing serves to its game studios. Joe Staten can now freely adapt from Halo and be exposed to more formulas for delivering a game to bring back into Halo. 

We should do a small tribute for Joe and await his return, maybe a short story in space that he could read in his favorite 'framed narrative' linear journey.
