E3 Cancelled and not returning

This year's E3 event has been cancelled with no definite plans for the next E3 itself fighting to be sustainable may not see another year in this financial climate. E3 has been a popular staple to the video game industry as a conference for the big three and what they have to offer. After Nintendo pulling out, Sony and Xbox there really is no point in having an E3 and both production and venue costs are not highly profitable, adapting to the environment and really adopted by younger generation of gamers. Is it a sad time though? I wouldn't say so. But as a 90s kid, E3 biting the dust is just one more boomer giant with a tombstone.
