Escalation Slayer Thoughts?

So in Halo's iteration of gun game for the -- 5th time? (Since its first introduction in modded Halo: Reach) we have Escalation Slayer. Now I thought this game was fun and fresh using the entire sandbox and rewarding proficiency with the weapons but for Big Team Battle it was busted, too short between weapons and where the weapons get harder to kill with the enemy team can typically catch up making for close games every game. Where I don't want to stray too far into the conversation of SBMM and weither a system should strive for close games and a 50% win ration, this game mode in BTB is atrocious. It does not work. 

For 4v4s though I am getting to like it but sometimes I am not excited for it, its a chore to go through and see. I hope we can just keep Fiesta to fiesta players instead of this. What are your thoughts?
