Gamers First use AI Art?

Vin Gattuso a Checkpoint Games artist that worked on Sins of the Prophets pointed out that the Gamers First, Pledge Your Oath draft (invitational?) ladies-only tournament centered around the Halo content creator OathxX had commissioned an artist that used multiple Pinterest source materials for his work with G1, this is typically the kind of stuff that would get you fired at just about any job but the artist was able to produce the image and walkaway from the project without reprimand as someone with prior portfolio without AI art. 

 

Now AI art overall has received mixed criticism and where there is more drama to discuss around just this topic and event poster alone I think its more valuable to create conversation on what we will see in the foreseeable future.
