Opinions on Kick Streaming?

I don't see too many Halo content creators on the platform but I recently took a look at it and noticed it really looks like Twitch. Early on the year Twitch had its source code leaked by a hacker group, the intrusion was one of the worst of last year yet was quickly burried in the news. I just cannot imagine that Kick may have built their entire business on the source code of Twitch. The monetization is better than Twitch however, its crowd and audience seems to be different. 

From what I understand this site was made because Twitch did not allow gambling on there website and quickly censored everything but the favored partner streams which were mostly hot tub streamers?
