Who is the Xbox Series S 1TB for?

Recently this console quietly dropped between the Series S and Series X. With supply chain challenges easing a bit we're starting to see consoles back in the shelves and while economically speaking in most data points we are in a recession its become something of a surprise to see Xbox make this move confidently. 

The Series S is a beautiful looking box. Its a Xbox with a slimmer profile and easier to fit into most furniture around today. It is however underpowered. The console before it Xbox One X has more raw graphical horsepower. Its almost the better console all around. So it begs the question who is this for? Would you be interested in something like this?

This is probably for the people who want a cheap next gen console that has a lot of space.  I know tons of people who want a series S but are hesitant due to not being able to fit as much as the series X. And with external storage devices not supporting X/S games the 1TB Series S is probably their best bet.
