How long did it take you to become a competitive gamer?

Competitive gaming is not something that is easy and it takes a lot of practice on your preferred game of choice to reach that competitive level. 

Going by the games that you play competitively, how long did it take you to get to the level to be able to play competitively?

It probably took me about 3-6 months, of consistently playing and playing against better players to start competing when back in Halo: Reach. With how accessible playing pros are in Halo Infinite I can imagine its faster than 3-6 months and can be done in 3 if shot skills are already there. In Halo (the game this site is mostly based around) the skill level competitively becomes more about how communication is shared between teammates and pushes in the game. At the highest skill level every ones accuracy staves off and it really becomes more about awareness and how well you play with a team.
