WulfeBear Posted May 24, 2021 at 01:37 PM WulfeBear Auditor 29 Share So, this may have changed since my time in the service, but when I was active duty (2008-2014), they were testing this in the US Marine's...I had heard that they didn't like it, that it wasn't what they had hoped...Now, that was some time ago and it may have changed, I know the US Army was trying to upgrade from the 5.56 round to something a little bigger (which the SCAR is), but when I left no decision had been made. They had just updated the M4 Carbine for most units to include a fully auto mode (most units only had single shot to burst, unless you where in Special Forces/Rangers). I didn't watch the video...
