Academic Discourse: Ideas

Hello all, I am Shandy (known online as Shandykidinkent, though I go by Shandy for short as it’s more easier). I wanted to know if this forum can also be a place to discuss academic discourse. I am currently a graduate student pursuing teaching, and have a background in social sciences, so wanted to know if anyone else is interested in this area? I’m new to this forum and clan, so if there is anything that I should be adding or leaving out, please do not hesitate to let me know.

@Serin Osman should have the final say but overall yes. We've written most of the forum rules to combat informal fallacies from happening and promote a healthy discussion or debate. I use the forums to also keep note on technologies as an IT student logging in everywhere, sharing news or saving random information. From time to time you'll also see something similar from other people who post random stuff.

Okay not a problem, I’d be interested to learn more about IT (only thing I know is a little bit of stats and coding-due to a sociology background).
