  1. My Hero Academia left us on kind of a cliffhanger in season 6 and as someone who just got into the show I am ready for more but of course season 7 isn't out yet. Though a prominent MHA leaker who has so far been right most of the time says MHA season 7 will most likely release in April of 2024. I honestly can't wait for the Dabi storyline to play out and find out how Deku and Shigaraki will clash throughout the season but I guess we will have to wait until 2024. Also for you dub viewers the dub airing is usually 2 weeks behind.
  2. That has to be the coolest PC case I have ever seen. Honestly you could just slap a UNSC symbol on there and it would seem like an official Halo case.
  3. IMPORTANT: I accidentally shared misinformation. The only way to get the Hulu in Disney + Beta is to have a Hulu subscription or own the Disney bundle subscription (ESPN, Disney +, Hulu). I am sorry for the misinformation and I hope I didn't cause any trouble.
  4. Today Disney pulled a surprise move and added almost EVERY Hulu movie/TV series to Disney +. Adding companies like Fox, ABC, Nickelodeon, and so many others. Heck they even have popular anime shows like MHA, Bleach, and Naruto. By doing this Disney + now has one of the most extensive movie/TV series library right now. I honestly felt like Disney was lacking some new quality content but with this new update tons of new content is ready to watch. Though this is in beta mode so if it doesn't work Disney could remove the option to watch Hulu on Disney at any time. This may just be a way to try to get people to get Hulu after they remove it from Disney but we will never know until it happens.
  5. Honestly fan games are a core part of the community but I see why it can be a threat to some devs. It is the devs content and if you are making money off it you are making money off another persons ideas. If they came out with an agreement that a certain percentage of fan made games money would go to the original creators then I think it could be mutually beneficial.
  6. I think knifes would make an interesting addition to the game. What would make the knifes super cool is if depending on the body part that is stabbed results in that body part losing function or being injured. Also I feel assassinations in infinite would be a welcome addition to the game and it would be a good way to spice up the battle pass.
  7. I never personally played the Fallout series but from what I heard about it I bet the show would be really cool. Also I actually made the profile pic myself because none of the official ones had him doing the intimidating walk he did in season 6.
  8. I always liked the Regenerator. Glad to see that a new version of it is out in infinite.
  9. Honestly I will probably watch it to see if they learned from there mistakes but I am not really exited for it.
  10. I recently felt a sudden urge to replay the Halo 5 campaign and though Halo 5 was so different that it could pass as its own separate game, I am surprised to say the game is still fun. So I thought I would review the state of Halo 5 Guardians 8 years later. Customization: Halo 5 had a pretty bad customization system that is easily surpassed by Halo reach, Halo 3, and Halo 4. With only the option to change your helmet, armor, and color there was not much variety and even though it probably had the most customization items in any Halo it was lacking in actually good armor. I heard jokes about people saying Halo 5 spartans looked like power rangers and they were correct BUT Halo 5 did have some of the best Halo helmets of all time in my opinion. The Heliosgrill helmet was actually really cool and I still don't have that helmet today, The achilles helmet was sought after and cool looking, the Nightfall armor set was a cool twist on ODST armor, and there were other really good helmets. Overall the customization was a downgrade from 4 but it had some pretty amazing armors and helmets. Req Packs: The infamous req packs. A loot-box system in Halo was hated and yet 343 made so much money. In my opinion having almost all customization items be locked behind chance really took away the feeling of accomplishment of getting an armor. I didn't mind them putting weapons and vehicles in there but having customization items in there really took away the experience of unlocking a armor by beating a challenge or grinding to get a currency to buy it. Weapons and advance movement: Halo 5's weapons were unlike any Halo and yet they were really fun. Weapons like the plasma caster, Incineration Cannon, and the pistol were just a few good weapons added in Halo 5. Every weapon was fun to use and had a great feeling to it. Some weapons like the suppressor were terrible but I mean it can't be perfect. I honestly think Halo 5 had the best pistol in the franchise just because it was the most balanced. Now about the advanced movement. A lot of people didn't really like this addition but it actually made the game really fun. If you think Halo 5 had the best movement of any Halo at the time and it made the game movement based. The boost was any amazing way to get out off dodge and pull of a couple of shots without getting hit. The shoulder charge and Ground pound were really fun to use and made combat really fun. Now I know people hated Halo 5 movement but I personally loved it. Campaign: The campaign probably had the worst story in all of the Halo franchise. Master Chief in need of a savior and being an emotional wreck was not really a good fit for him. Fireteam Osiris was really terrible (other than buck and maybe lock) and the story felt all over the place. To get the full story reading the books explained a lot of the plot holes and that made the story a little hard to follow. The gameplay itself was fun but the story wasn't great. Warzone: Warzone was actually really fun and added a cool twist on firefight. Warzone Firefight was my favorite version of Warzone. The req system was cool because it let you call in vehicles and weapons which spiced up firefight. The bosses made the game feel less repetitive. Overall I think Warzone is the superior firefight. Forge: Halo 5 forge was at the time the best Halo forge in the franchise. Coding in the game made maps more unique and tons of special game modes that didn't always have to be weapon based. The prefab system made sharing props so much easier and allowed for multiple creators to use props made by other creators. Also instead of having building pieces seem plain like reach there was tons of unique pieces you could use to build you map. Then the terrain building allowed for uniquely shaped maps. Lastly the weapon mixing glitch that was left in the game was amazing and made the game fun. AR's that shot grenades and shotguns that shot rockets made for some interesting gameplay. I am honestly glad 343 left that glitch in. In Conclusion: Halo 5 was hated or disliked by a lot of people and I have to agree there was a lot of flaws but I feel like a lot of people were blinded by the fact that it wasn't really like Halo. Yes Halo 5 was nothing like the other Halos but the game was really fun. The game had so many unique features and so many things were better then they were in other Halos. I think though my favorite part of Halo 5 was the experience though. Some of my best memories on Halo were made there. I made many friends because of Halo 5 and I continue to game with some of them today. Overall Halo 5 still holds up today even after 8 years.
  11. I feel like that is the biggest problem with having a "Remastered playlist" because the movement, features, (no dual wielding) and weapons are so different in the 343 games and it will always feel different. I do feel they did do really great in Halo 5 remastered playlists because they actually made the Halo 1 pistol and Halo 2 BR and put them in the playlists.
  12. Halo Infinite has been out for 2 years now and a lot has changed. We finally have cross core customization (mostly), we have forge, co-op campaign, and a variety of maps. Though as much as the game has grown the state of Infinite isn't perfect. A lot of the features we have now should have been there at launch and the other features that should already be here (like split screen campaign and cutscenes) are cancelled. The game still runs terribly for me and the whole 40% win rate thing is probably the worst mechanic ever. Though even with all of this the game still has hope. 343 has been trying there hardest with the little support and staff they have and unexpected and amazing updates (like AI in forge) have been added to make the game fresh. Customization is on its way to perfection like promised and bug fixes are defiantly coming. So overall what is the state of Halo? Well as much as I love the Halo Franchise 343 has failed on a lot of things and just because the name Halo is on the cover of the game doesn't mean I'll praise every move 343 does but I'm not giving up on the game. Recently Halo has really surprised me and peaked my interest. I finally can just play the game again. I am enjoying myself. If the 343 keeps working on the game and adds some basic needs like quality of life updates, Campaign DLC, Cross Core Customization, and other basic needs than the game will be complete. The game isn't perfect but I can't wait to see how 343 fixes and adds to the game in the future. Maybe that 10 year plan will be achievable after all.
  13. So I haven't played the new playlist yet but the new Halo 3 inspired playlist is said to have terrible skill based matchmaking. Mint Blitz said he was playing with Onyx ranked people who are in the top 200 best players in the world and tons of others are having the same problem. How is your Halo 3 refueled matches going?
  14. You see thats why I quit Apex. Learning the characters abilities is hard and to get the characters I want I have to grind or put money in to the game and I am not gonna choose the latter. I don't mind games were you choose people with different abilities I actually find them quite fun but Apex is just a whole new type of grind and learning curve.
  15. Back in 2018 if you said Battle Royale you may think of pubG or maybe Fortnite but back then the BR market was very small. But after Fortnite's major success Battle Royale games started popping up everywhere. First Apex Legends then Warzone and heck even recently My Hero Academia just released its own BR game. And as fun as the BR genre is I feel like now the BR market is oversaturated. Honestly no mater how many special features the game has or how amazing the map is every BR game feels the same. At least Apex Legends and My Hero Ultra Rumble added their own twists but even then the games still feel the same. Now I still enjoy some BR games and I play them a good bit but I am also ready for a new type of game. what do you guys think? Do you think the BR market is oversaturated?
  16. I personally have never been in a clan but from a friend I know who is in a clan he says it has been hard to keep up with PC players so most people in his clan have tried to switch to PC. They realized if they wanted to keep their clan at a high level and be able to compete they had to switch. Not that a Xbox player can't beat a PC player but it defiantly levels out the playing field if both sides are on the same platform.
  17. Yes and man is it fun. I actually joined Fortnite in Chapter 2 but seeing so most of the nostalgia comes from seeing POI's carried over from chapter 1 to chapter 2 and seeing most of the chapter 2 lootpool but even though a lot of the map and items are new to me I am still having fun. Something about the simplicity of the game that makes me want to play it more often.
  18. They are deleting everything not just clips that have existed over 90 days. So if you don't save your captures to a device then you will never see any of your captures. At least that is what I got from it.
  19. Halo 4 wasn't perfect but I did spend a lot of time in custom games with my friends so it really changes how you view a game. I really feel Halo 4 was had some great additions like the mantis, railgun, sticky detonator, the maps haven and solace were great. The game itself was fun I just feel like people didn't like it because it didn't feel like Halo. Halo 5 was the same way. I liked Halo 5 but it just didn't feel like Halo. Honestly if they slapped a different name on their and changed up some things Halo 4 or 5 could have been its own series and it would have been probably more successful.
  20. I just wanted to do a check to see but what is everyone carreer ranks right now? The new system has been out for a while now and I wanted to see how everybody is faring. I am currently Bronze lieutenant 3.
  21. So if you haven't seen the news people all over Twitter (or X but I'll call it twitter for clarity purposes) Bing AI has been going crazy. One of the most surprising things it has done was confess love to a New York Times Journalist and then try to convince him to leave his wife because "she doesn't love him." But it doesn't end there. Even I have had problems with Bing that are very unsettling. So when I do my daily searches for rewards points I just search the letter Y repeatedly because it is the fastest way to get it done but some of the search results were creepy. Not only did some results show directions to my home town but also other results show information about My Hero Academia a show I just starting watching. I have never look either of these things up on Bing and yet when I search the letter Y these things instantly pop up. AI is getting smarter by the day, so much that big tech giants are ceasing work on AI because they fear it not only could take control of the internet but also manipulate people into doing what it wants. I never thought this would happen but AI is getting way to smart and according to some people "there is no turning back,"
  22. Honestly I just can't play COD because the game is always so inconstant. I only occasionally get on and play COD and every time I play all of my favorite guns just don't work they way they did the update before. Then you have server issues which constantly plague me. The only reason I bought COD MW 1 and 2 is because my friends had it and I wanted to try out the campaign but now my friends don't play it and the campaign is all over the place.
  23. I personally haven't really payed much attention to the game but the gameplay does seem really fluent from the video. I also really agree that a functional game is better than a broken game I can play right now.
  24. But honestly just speedrunning the campaign in 14 days really takes away from the game.
  25. There are two games I can think of off the top of my head. One is Unraveled 2. Essentially it is a duo puzzle game where 2 little yarn people try to fight off evil memories from a tramatic event that affected 2 young kids. Also if you like those duo puzzle platformers, little nightmares 2 is great too. Though if that isn't your style there is a couple of really good couch co-op shooters. You have army of two, an old xbox 360 game pass couch co-op game where two players have to collaborate to defeat a evil army. Would really recommend that one because it has some interesting mechanics. Then you have another classic Dead Space 3. If she doesn't really like gears then I really doubt she would like this but I mean you could always try. Lastly the only other fun couch co-op game that requires you and player two to collaborate that I can think of is portal 2. That has a couch co-op option and lets you go through a couple of levels with a partner.
