  1. Claim the Mardi Gras-themed nameplate in MCC till Feb 20. and show off your festive spirit!
  2. I watched most recently the newest John Wick 4, it was alright. Probably a 7/10 honestly to me. Its just a little outdrawn, the gunplay and guns used were cool but the story itself isn't as interesting to follow anymore.
  3. Great I'll have to set a reminder in April to claim it then, it should be all done by then.
  4. In that case I wouldn't really be able to take advantage of the free month, could still watch the first two episodes I guess!
  5. Is the show actually already done? I want to wait for all the episodes of Season 2 to be out so I can watch them in a binge.
  6. Hello all, The site was down for however many hours while I was asleep; a known issue with payment of our site hosting came up. I haven't been able to sit down and give detailed financial reporting for the site, I have been looking for more ways to automate the process and make it seamless and easy to understand. But for right now we are of course as a small niche community and the site is paid via donations, subscriptions and our store that sells merchandise. Anytime there isn't enough funds I pay out of pocket and use a personal PayPal account that I am still transisitoning out into a business account solely used for this site and the operations of Lysithea, ONI and anything related. Because my payment options are in Japanese every now and then between PayPal and the vendor they will drop the card or my bank will chargeback. Paying for the site is also a manual process so if I forget to login to our vendor website and pay, the community will go down. It is a sad truth and reality but hopefully will be a challenge we fix soon (this month or next) especially because the Yen to dollar rate is very bad for me. As the site returns everything should be good to go!
  7. This does not align with what they have said about MCC not recieving anymore updates but we'll have to see. Sony's architecture is linux based so I wonder if this will also mean support for Linux operating systems is going to be introduced for the PC version.
  8. The official name of this is HALO: HIPPOCRATICA and well.. its not my favorite but worth fixing the crave for more stories. I hope they can really build more impactful stories.
  9. All good things come in moderation. “Every praiseworthy characteristic has two blameworthy poles. Generosity is the middle between miserliness and extravagance. Courage is the middle between cowardice and recklessness. Humanity has been commanded to avoid every such blameworthy trait.” -Ibn Manzur If you’re agitated, stressed, upset, exhausted, and nervous. There’s one underrated value in the modern society that you probably missing: moderation or balance. We boast how few hours of sleep we maintain, how insatiable we are in our careers, and how comfy our lives are thanks to an excess of luxury goods. It’s hard for us to divide equally, to allocate things correctly, and to be moderate in many. The famous example is work. I’m not telling you should aim for work-life balance. If working long hours is okay for you and those people you loved, then it’s a balance. Make sure you maintain an open and honest communication with your loved ones. If your work made you tired, easily upset, anxious, these are the cue for imbalance. Balance means untroubled spirit; it means controlling oneself; it means justice; it means setting everything in its rightful place; it means unbiased. Everything has two ends and a middle. If you hold one of the ends, the other will be skewed. If you hold the middle, the two ends will be balanced. You must seek the middle ground in all things. In gaming it is always a past-time, a form of entertainment and like many other forms should be restricted to where you can afford in time to allow and align with your personal goals. I myself don't actually play too much games already, many in staff have moved on from gaming altogether to focus on life goals and achievements. We are the only creatures who can think about the future. That’s why humans created all of these wonderful things. But, we live in the now. If we think only about the future, then we might spend the rest of our lives only dreaming. We have to balance it with actions that are only happening in the now. So do what must be done! We'll be here and as for Halo, well its still recieving updates.
  10. Its just okay for now I suppose, I haven't got to play much with anyone else and the solo queue experience isn't too different this latest update around. I have kind of found my armor set I really like but do think the $150 of bundles this update came with is a little high for all of the stuff if you were to buy it altogether. This sounds really cool, I definitely need to check it out.
  11. “Led by studio head Pierre Hintze – the first Black studio head in Halo franchise history – 343 Industries continues to celebrate diversity in the Halo Universe and beyond.” I do have to say it isn't my favorite customization, something more subtle and suited to the science fiction protocols already created in the universe would be better but is cool to see. Part of me sees this as the company and art direction leaning into the many memes and internet culture around black history month instead of the voice and mission behind celebrating the month but I digress, for whatever reason this is added its always acceptional especially when free!
  12. THIS IS HUGE! While it is definitely behind a not-so-modest price it is very cool to see in game and I cannot wait to see what kind of media we might be able to do around this weapon model.
  13. Illusion takes place within an abandoned and forgotten ONI black site where old experiments with recovered (and familiar) Covenant technology still remain, evoking the feeling and design of maps from Halo: Combat Evolved. In many ways it begs the question why we don't have more fun maps like this but its probably for the better anyway. Cannot wait to play this one! A whole lot more was said about the map than I can really summarize so here's the link to the Waypoint article. [ https://www.halowaypoint.com/news/map-overview-halo-infinite-cu29 ]
  14. It's a lot smaller than last years but its a given. While there is now an event in London which is a win for the european community the rest of the world is left to watch again. Where the dollar is strong economically I am finding it hard to believe what the reasons could be for not hosting an Australia or South America regional event.
  15. Hey! I am always happy to see a familiar face, I can merge your new account and old account together if you want. Yes its almost impossible to get on and solo queue for me because I know what its like now playing with groups for so long. It doesn't even have to be Halo anymore, I get this feeling I need to invite my friendslist of clan kids before playing anything and I also need to hear their stories as we play. It is absolutely insane what you have to go through just to organize a raid or anything outside of the base game anymore. Taking the helm has had a new meaning in years and where I looked to first relieve the work and pressure from others I have given up entirely and just went the other direction to try and reward the effort and volunteer community management that the "Job" becomes. I stood up an US based non-profit called Eridanus-II Foundation for people to register volunteer hours in or be employed by to help them with their actual careers. Since we do anything from data entry and reporting to organizing events and administration I thought it was the most appropriate thing to do. I have no experience with Unions, I recommend making that its own separate thread though because I can imagine one or two people have gone through the process for appeals and so on. California is beautiful man, I think Delta A17 is over there he would have got a kick out of meeting up. Everyone always thinks the grass is always greener and where California is the people living there even after paying a stupid amount higher than average in rent will exxagerate it. I've had a few ask me to take it down but I genuinely laugh at it every once in awhile, like why did we talk like that and how my grammar got a little bit better from then.
  16. Manor Lords is a medieval strategy game featuring in-depth city building, large-scale tactical battles, and complex economic and social simulations. Rule your lands as a medieval lord -- the seasons pass, the weather changes, and cities rise and fall. [ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1363080/Manor_Lords/ ] Anyone else heard of this game before?
  17. The Mark IV Armor Core is joining Halo Infinite, the legendary Halo Wars Spartan Jerome and Red team armor is finally coming into the game. Despite its name, MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor Mark IV was the first production model of MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor. The Spartan armor design in Halo Wars is often regarded as one of the best in the series due to its unique blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal. The armor strikes a balance between the iconic features of the classic Spartan design and a more streamlined, tactical appearance. The sleek and practical look of the armor reflects the game's real-time strategy setting, where efficient and strategic movement is crucial. The design incorporates well-defined lines, advanced technology details, and a sense of practicality that aligns with the tactical nature of commanding armies on the battlefield. Overall, the Halo Wars Spartan armor design is celebrated for seamlessly marrying the essence of the iconic Spartans with a functional and visually engaging style that complements the game's strategic gameplay. Its honestly beautiful.
  18. In a recently announcement a Match composer was announced to be in the works. Now personally this is a good win for the community but also at a loss and sacrifice again to population. The fringes that be in the rotational playlists will continue to be just that; there is no solution for unifying or bringing back community through the match composer. The match composer itself has been proven worthwhile in the Master Chief Collection but I have reason to believe its because people can choose which Halo title they want to play. Most will never have the luxury of only playing Halo 2 Snipers for more than 10 games a given day. These niche communities and filters end up being its own totem of dead heads in a way honoring the game modes and communities behind them, showing the direction but inevitably nothing more to it. I think this effort comes at a cost, but of course what do you all think? Its good to see updates at all but is this really the right decision to follow? A huge pro to this is that ranked slayer is going to become permanent which is a nice for those that look to be more competitive but cannot handle objective game modes.

  20. Unfortunately I don't think it would amass to a sustainable amount long term but would definitely increase the base population and have a big spike to last for months. The PS5 outsold the XSX and the most popular games are all free to play.
  21. Kaci "Lqgend" Sabri (born October 11, 2003) is a French player who is currently playing for Spacestation Gaming.
